The Math Center 2U

The Metamo4ic Math Center visits your
school or organization to bring the field trip
experience to you.  Until we reopen in a new
location, the Math Center 2U replaces
visiting the Math Center.  We have selected
our visitors’ favorite activities and exhibits to
continue our mission to create positive
attitudes towards mathematics which deliver
the message that math is everywhere and
demonstrates to kids how math works.

The Math Center 2 U is designed from
our success at the Math Center.  There
are 4 areas (formerly the rooms of the
Math Center) to visit.

  • Each area contains exhibits and
activities that align with the five
    Content Standards from the
    National Council of  Teachers of
    Mathematics (NCTM), Number and
    Operations, Algebra, Geometry,
    Measurement, and Data Analysis
    and Probability and integrate the
    NCTM Process Standards, Problem
    Solving, Reasoning and Proof,
    Communication, Connections, and
    Representation.
  • The exhibits and activities brought
to your organization vary upon the
    age level of the children.
  • We will select the exhibits and
    activities or allow you the
    opportunity to make your own
    selections based on your school’s
    or organization’s needs.

parents, and children and timing the
    event.

    allowing the children free choice
to select what they do during the
