Math on the Move
An invitation for schools to visit the Math Center and utilize our
facility for professional development, a faculty meeting, or for
another educational idea.  There is no cost for a Faculty Fieldtrip.
Sometimes getting out to experience a new view or fresh look is
inspirational for us all. The Math Center provides the space to meet
and offers faculties an opportunity to view, explore, and work with
math through the eyes of children.  Faculties are responsible for
supplying their refreshments and workshop/meeting experiences.
Please note the Math Center does offer Professional Development
Workshops (see below), and the Math Center is happy to provide
refreshments for a nominal cost.  Call for more information.
The Math Center offers two Professional Development Workshops
for Elementary Educators.  These workshops are available for
presentation in our facility or on location at St. Louis Area schools.
For more information, please click on the workshop's title.
Thank you.

Math Improvement Collaboration (MIC)
Ongoing Professional Development
Mathematic Improvement Collaboration (MIC) is designed and
customized to meet the unique and individual needs of an elementary
staff.  It is based in best practices and focuses on the one thing
that has the greatest impact on student achievement, the teacher.
It addresses mathematical anxiety levels, common assessments,
student assessment, examines data, assists in setting attainable
goals, and  improves teacher understanding of how math works.
